After receiving over 80 applications and conducting many interviews, we are proud to announce the 2010-2011 CDI Team! We’re very excited about next year’s team, and think we found the perfect mix of people to best serve the UGA Career Center in the coming year. With a variety of majors and backgrounds and a variety of skills and personality traits, we know next year’s team is going to be on fire!

Daryan Rahimzadeh will be returning for his second year as a CDI and will be a Junior at UGA next year. Daryan is a Sociology major, also pursuing a certificate in Leadership & Service. This Summer, Daryan will be one of the twelve Orientation Leaders for all the incoming UGA Freshmen and will also be participating in Dawg Camp for the second year in a row. Daryan is extremely excited about returning to the Career Center next year and sharing his CDI wisdom and experiences with the new team!

Justine Gillette is from Savannah, GA and will also be a Junior at UGA next year. She is a triple major in Management, International Business, and Psychology and loves everything about the University of Georgia! Justine is actively involved with her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, and Relay for Life’s Spirit Committee. As a current student worker at the Career Center, Justine is excited to be a CDI next year and learn about a whole new side of the Career Center!

Jim Kao will be a UGA Senior next year and is from Roswell, GA. He double majors in Piano Performance and Accounting and, in addition to playing piano, he also plays the cello in the UGA Symphony Orchestra. Along with academics, Jim is also involved with Alternative Spring Break and Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. He was a site leader for the ASB trip to New Orleans this past spring break, and the worship team leader for Intervarsity. Jim is very excited to be part of the CDI team next year and looks forward to helping students become knowledgeable about how helpful the Career Center is!

Ashley Murphy is a Public Relations major and will be a Junior at UGA for the 2010-2011 school year. As a transfer student from Clemson University, Ashley is new to UGA’s campus this year but has wasted no time getting involved! On campus, Ashley is actively involved in her sorority, Sigma Alpha Omega, and is a member of the Wesley Foundation. She enjoys volunteering in the Athens community and also helps coach a cheerleading squad with the Downtown Falcons sports league. In her spare time, Ashley likes exploring Athens and ballroom dancing.
